Service Terms

Quotes are free and based on the information and photos you provide. Pricing depends on the amount and type of material, weight, required labour, stairs or access conditions, disposal charges and travel. Photos usually allow us to provide an accurate estimate. The final price is confirmed before work begins. If the scope changes, any revised price is explained and approved before additional work continues.

Service calls start at $125. The quote itself is always free.

Submitting the quote form is a request, not a booking. An appointment exists only once we have confirmed the date, arrival period and price with you directly by call, text or email. Same-day service may be available depending on the schedule.

Please make sure items are accessible and that parking or loading space is available where possible. Tell us in advance about stairs, elevators, long carries, tight doorways or building restrictions so the quote is accurate. Appliances must normally be empty, disconnected and safely accessible. We do not perform electrical, gas or plumbing disconnection.

If the job on site differs from what was described — more items, heavier material or harder access — we stop and explain the revised price before continuing. Additional work only proceeds with your approval.

Mini Muscle does not accept hazardous materials such as paint, fuels, oils, chemicals, asbestos, propane, medical waste or biohazardous materials. Ask us and we will point you toward an appropriate City of Ottawa or provincial disposal resource.

Heavy construction materials such as concrete, soil, brick and shingles require advance review, separate pricing and may not be accepted.

Plans change — let us know as early as you can and we will reschedule at no cost. If we arrive at a confirmed appointment and the work cannot proceed, we may charge a call-out fee to cover the trip.

Payment is due on completion of the work. Accepted payment methods are confirmed with you when the appointment is booked. Please ask if you would like to confirm a specific method in advance.

We handle items carefully to help protect floors, walls and doorways, and we will tell you if an item cannot be removed safely — for example if it does not fit the exit route or would risk injury or property damage. Some wear on very tight routes cannot always be avoided, and we will point out any concern before lifting.
