Everything worth knowing before you book. Still curious? Call or text and a real person responds during business hours.
Booking & scheduling
How fast can you come?+
It depends on the day's schedule. Same-day service may be available when a slot is open — call or text and we'll give you the earliest realistic time.
Does submitting the quote form book my appointment?+
No. The form sends us a quote request. Your appointment is confirmed only after we contact you to agree on pricing, a date and an arrival period.
Do I need to be home?+
Not always. If the items are accessible and we've confirmed the scope from your photos, many jobs can be completed without you present.
Do you offer arrival windows?+
Yes — you can request morning, afternoon or flexible, and we confirm the window with you before the job.
Pricing & payment
How much does it cost?+
Service calls start at $125. Quotes are always free.
How is pricing calculated?+
Pricing depends on the amount and type of material, weight, required labour, stairs or access conditions, disposal charges and travel. Photos usually allow us to provide an accurate estimate. The final price is confirmed before work begins. If the scope changes, any revised price is explained and approved before additional work continues.
What if the job is bigger than expected?+
We stop, explain the revised price, and only continue once you've approved it.
How can I pay?+
Payment is due when the work is complete. Accepted payment methods are confirmed with you when your appointment is booked — just ask if you'd like to arrange a specific method in advance.
What we take
What do you take?+
Non-hazardous household and yard items — furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, garage and basement clutter, and yard waste. We focus on small and medium removals.
What can't you take?+
Mini Muscle does not accept hazardous materials such as paint, fuels, oils, chemicals, asbestos, propane, medical waste or biohazardous materials. Ask us and we will point you toward an appropriate City of Ottawa or provincial disposal resource.
What about concrete, soil, brick or shingles?+
Heavy construction materials such as concrete, soil, brick and shingles require advance review, separate pricing and may not be accepted.
Are there rules for appliances?+
Appliances must normally be empty, disconnected and safely accessible. We do not perform electrical, gas or plumbing disconnection.
Do you recycle or donate?+
Donation and recycling are prioritized wherever practical — usable items to local organizations, metal and e-waste to recycling facilities that accept them.
The service
Who will show up?+
Mini Muscle is locally owned and owner-operated by Georgi Enchev, so you're usually dealing directly with the person doing the work.
How do you protect my home?+
We handle items carefully to help protect floors, walls and doorways, and we move slowly through tight spaces rather than rushing a heavy item. If something can't be removed safely, we'll tell you before lifting it.
Where do you work?+
Ottawa and its neighbourhoods, with extended service by request. Extended-area service is subject to availability and travel pricing.
